Salman Khan and Ajay Devgn are all set to reunite on the big screen once again. After Hum Dil De Chuke Sanam and London Dreams, the actors are reportedly planning to collaborate for period drama, Taanaji. Yes, pinch yourselves if you still can't believe what you just read. As per a report in a Hindi daily Dainik Bhaskar, the actors will share the screen space in this historical drama and Salman will, in fact, play the role of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. We believe his role will be more of a cameo since the movie is essentially a biopic on the life of Taanaji. Earlier there were reports that Saif Ali Khan will play Shivaji in this Ajay starrer. However, the Sacred Games actor refuted all the stories and revealed that his character is more of an Anti-Hero. A source told DNA, “The Taanaji team believes that Saif will make for an interesting choice to play Udaybhan Rathod, the Rajput officer and fort keeper appointed by Jai Singh, chief of the Moghul army under Aurangzeb. The film recounts the Battle of Sinhagad in 1670, which was fought between Tanaji Malusare, a commander in Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj’s army, and Udaybhan.
