Shah Rukh Khan's recent film 'Zero' attracted mixed reviews. While some of them totally loved the superstar's zeal to experiment and expand his horizon, others were a bit disappointed it not being the regular, conventional kind of film. However, all that is already a part of the past for King Khan now as he is all set to shoot for his next ambitious film tentatively titled as Salute. The space drama is based on the life of Indian astronaut Rakesh Sharma. As per the latest reports, the makers of Salute, have preponed the shoot of the film, without wanting to waste more time and resources. There was a buzz that the film will be kickstarted in February instead of May as to make the audience forget the 'failure' of Zero. However, a source from the production team told Midday, some legit reasons for this decision, quashing the earlier one.

Firstly, the decision of preponing the schedule was taken only after a meeting with producer Siddharth Roy Kapur. Also, it can be noted that several movies based on the space theme were shelved even before they materialized and hence, the makers of Salute are keen on making their dream come true at any cost. Also, they do not want to delay the schedule owing to the high expense budget of the same.

There are also a few technical reasons as to why the shoot is scheduled to start earlier. The costumes used in the film will have to be mostly used before the summer heat. They also have to finish their first schedule before starting the next which requires to be shot in June. Hence, this major decision. Are you excited for this Mahesh Mathai directed film?
