Gold actress Mouni Roy, who rose to fame after her stint in Ekta Kapoor's much-celebrated show Naagin, turns a year older today on September 28. Mouni, who has a huge fan following on social media, has been one of the shining pillars of the Television industry for a long time. As the actress turned 34 today, fans and friends from the Television and Bollywood industry have been pouring in birthday wishes for the actress on her social media handles.

After making her Bollywood debut with Akshay Kumar starrer Gold, Mouni, is climbing up the success ladder and has quite a few projects in her kitty. The actress, who had been busy shooting for Mikhil Musale's Made In China, has taken some time off her busy schedule to bring in her birthday in Istanbul, Turkey with her girlfriends from the industry. Yes, you read that right. The Bong beauty is accompanied by Sanjeeda Shaikh, Aashka Goradia, Sohanna Sinha and Anisha Verma. From enjoying Tango performances on the street to shopping at malls, the girls are having a gala time there.

On the professional front, Mouni Roy has wrapped up shoot for Romeo Walter Akbar. The actress will soon be seen in Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor's Brahmastra and Rajkummar Rao's Made In China. As we know, Mouni is one of most popular actresses and therefore, keeping this in mind, the makers of Made In China brought Mouni on board. Speaking of Made In China, the actress will be seen playing the role of a Gujarati girl, while the Omerta star will play a struggling Gujarati businessman in the film, who sets on a journey to China in order to make his business flourish.
