Virender Sehwag was one of the most feared batsmen during his playing days. At top of the order, Sehwag had the ability to take the game away from opponents with his aggressive batting style. Sehwag was known to play his shots right from ball one as he always liked to dominate early on. Meanwhile, Sehwag returned to the cricket field after a long gap and did exactly what he was known for.

In a friendly cricket match, Sehwag was seen hitting big sixes. The former Indian cricketer was participating in the Karnataka Chalanachitra Cup,  a 10-over cricket tournament held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru. Sehwag playing for Kadamba Lions against Hoysala Eagles scored 46 off 17 balls before he was run-out. The former Indian owner took to Twitter and shared a video of him hitting a huge six over long-on. Along with the video, Sehwag tweeted: “Usool tab bhi wahi tha, ab bhi wahi hai. Shubh kaam mein der kaisi. Entertainment Entertainment Entertainment. Was fun batting today.” It roughly translates to "The rule remains the same as it was in the past. Why delay the positive work.”

KCC, the two-day tournament, features six teams- Rashatrakuta Panthers, Ganga Warriors, Wadeyar Charges, Hoysala Eagles, Vijayanagar Patriots, and Kadamba Lions. The tournament also features players like Herschelle Gibbs, Owais Shah, and Tillakaratne Dilshan apart from actors for South Indian film industry. Sehwag represented Kadamba Lions in the tournament, which was led by actor Kichcha Sudeep.
